Why did you decide to join MessageMedia?

The challenge – MessageMedia provides massive opportunities for those that are willing to take the challenge. The business is growing rapidly, and our technology is constantly changing so innovation is critical.

The work environment – MessageMedia is all about getting the results, and having fun doing it. I personally value the flexible hours, office bike facilities, free fruit, and gym membership as it provides a healthy balance to the hard work we do during our day.

How would you describe the MessageMedia culture?

At MessageMedia we are expected to be the best at what we do. This means that we are constantly challenged, and also pushed to constantly improve. This provides endless opportunities for career development and exposure to a wide range of skills and business areas. What interesting projects have you worked on at MessageMedia?

We are currently re-building most of our core systems from the ground up. I am personally responsible for the re-development of our product suite. This has involved architectural design, usability design and testing, test frameworks and a lot of project management! The project is forging ahead and we are kicking goals – it is great to be involved in a project from the start and to finish with an amazing product.

Have you been challenged to develop your skill-set during your time here?

Absolutely – I began as a web developer building and maintaining basic promotional sites. I moved into a leadership position in the software development team and I’m now the team leader for products. In my 30 months at MessageMedia I have developed my skills across technical, communication and leadership fields.

What do you like most about working at MessageMedia?

The people - MessageMedians are passionate and extremely good at what they do.
