Why did you decide to join MessageMedia?

I studied a business degree in entrepreneurship, so when I left university I wanted to work for an organisation that fostered creativity and innovation. MessageMedia was founded by an entrepreneur and even though the business has grown rapidly since inception, the fundamentals of its continued success still remain the same.

How would you describe the MessageMedia culture?

MessageMedia has built a high performance culture, largely due to the effort that it has invested into its HR program. During my time here, MessageMedia has hired some amazing people. Working with intelligent, passionate and supportive individuals, inspires me to come to work every day and be the best that I can possibly be.

What interesting projects have you worked on at MessageMedia?

I don’t know where to start. Each project is always unique and generally involves collaboration with many different departments/stakeholders. This has given me a really good understanding of all the different business units and how they work together.

How have you been challenged to develop your skill-set during your time here?

I have been regularly challenged to develop my skill-set during my time at MessageMedia. One of the things I like most about working here is that I am actually given opportunities to try new things, even though there is a possibility I might not get it right on my first attempt. I am not punished for this, instead I am rewarded for stepping outside of my comfort zone and trying something new. The company understands that in order for its team to grow, there is a learning process that must occur.

If you could say one thing to a friend considering a career at MessageMedia, what would it be?

Time goes fast when you’re having fun! I have never had a job where the weeks go as fast as they do at MessageMedia.
